ASTM International

ASTM International, in the past known as American Society for Testing and Materials, is a worldwide principles association that creates and distributes deliberate agreement specialized guidelines for a wide scope of materials, items, frameworks, and administrations. About 12,575 ASTM intentional agreement norms work internationally. The association's home office is in West Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, around 5 mi (8.0 km) northwest of Philadelphia. 


A gathering of researchers and architects, driven by Charles Dudley, framed ASTM in 1898 to address the regular rail breaks influencing the quickly developing railroad industry. Participation in the association is available to anybody with an enthusiasm for its activities. Participation in many boards of trustees is deliberate and is started by the part's own solicitation, not by arrangement nor by greeting.
